Registration process

Please register your ESCo by using the link provided. All information provided will be treated as strictly confidential and will not be provided to any 3rd parties.

Please note: Registration closes on 28 February 2017, and evaluations will be communicated by 31 March 2017.

ESCos will be certified on an enterprise level as well as per technology. Please see table 1 and 2 below for more information.

ESCo certification

ESCos will be catergorised as either Tier 1 (Full ESCo) or Tier 2 (Developing ESCo). Tier 1 ESCOs will have to achieve full certification in at least 70% of the criteria evaluated, with partial certification in all others. To qualify for Tier 2, partial certification in at least 70% of the criteria evaluated is required. Please see Table 1 for a summary of certification criteria and for supporting documentation required as part of the submission.

Technology certification

Given the fact that the register will be used to support public or private cogeneration or EEDSM projects in South Africa, ESCos will also be evaluated based on various energy efficient technologies including cogeneration. See Table 2 for a summary of certification criteria and for supporting documentation required as part of the submission.

PLEASE NOTE: Table 2 should be completed for each EEDSM technology. In other words Table 2 should be filled out separately for each of the following technologies:

Water/Sewerage Pumping

Waste Water Processes

Cogen
